Summer Raffia is a robust, hardwearing raffia yarn that holds its structure and shape well, even after washing.

The spinning process takes place in Nakyang’s own facility in Gyeongsan, South Korea, near Daegu, a former textile hub of the country. The dyeing process is carried out by partner companies located in close proximity, all within the Gyeongsan and Daegu area.

Keeping spinning and dyeing facilities close together allows for short transport distances between production steps, supporting a streamlined and locally concentrated manufacturing process.

Summer Raffia is made of 100% polyester and is heat- and light-resistant, making it well suited for bags and accessories such as hats.

The pictured gauge swatch was machine-washed (regular program at 40°C) and steam ironed.
