Asa Taesa is a soft, lightweight linen–cotton yarn, well suited for projects that require both drape and comfort. Its câblé construction provides excellent durability, while the Z-twist helps prevent the yarn from unraveling or splitting during crocheting, making it pleasant to work with.

The spinning process takes place in Nakyang’s own facility in Gyeongsan, South Korea, near Daegu, a former textile hub of the country. The dyeing process is carried out by partner companies located in close proximity, all within the Gyeongsan and Daegu area.

Keeping spinning and dyeing facilities close together allows for short transport distances between production steps, supporting a streamlined and locally concentrated manufacturing process.

Asa Taesa is made of 70% linen and 30% cotton, making it an excellent choice for summer garments such as tops, sweaters, and cardigans, as well as for lightweight shawls.

The pictured gauge swatch was machine-washed (regular program at 40°C) and steam ironed.
