Make Up is a distinctive Aran weight yarn with a unique construction. It is formed from a knitted jersey tube that is compactly filled with polyester, resulting in a voluminous yet lightweight yarn with excellent stitch definition. The jersey fabric adds a pleasant elasticity, making Make Up comfortable and enjoyable to work with.
The spinning process takes place in Nakyang’s own facility in Gyeongsan, South Korea, near Daegu, a former textile hub of the country. The dyeing process is carried out by partner companies located in close proximity, all within the Gyeongsan and Daegu area.
Keeping spinning and dyeing facilities close together allows for short transport distances between production steps, supporting a streamlined and locally concentrated manufacturing process.
Make Up is made from 100% polyester and is lightweight and anti-pilling, making it well suited for soft, voluminous results. It is ideal for bags, accessories, and home décor projects, and can also be used for amigurumi.
The pictured gauge swatch was machine-washed (normal program at 30°C) and steam ironed.
