Scheepjes – CAL Perfect Picnic – Yarn Kit

The Scheepjes Perfect Picnic CAL has been developed in collaboration with crochet designer Eleonora Tully of Coastal Crochet. One of Eleonora’s beloved blanket designs makes its Scheepjes debut in three brand-new colour palettes.

Inspired by idyllic picnic locations, each colour palette captures the atmosphere and beauty of a special destination. Featuring front and back relief stitches, playful bobbles, simple Tunisian crochet and join-as-you-go construction, the blanket offers a good balance of familiar and new techniques, with plenty of opportunities to build your crochet skills while exploring colour and texture.

The CAL runs from October 21st to December 9th, 2026. Join the Official Scheepjes Facebook Groups (international and Dutch) to crochet along with the community.

Project information:

• The pattern is accessible via QR code, which is included in the kit
• The finished blanket should measure approximately 115 x 92cm, when blocked

With this yarn kit, you will receive:

• 1 exclusive Scheepjes Perfect Picnic tote bag, measuring 42 x 32 cm
• 26 balls of Scheepjes Cotton Create DK (50% Post-Consumer Recycled Cotton, 50% Premium Cotton – 50 g / 170 m per ball – machine washable up to 40°C)

For this project you also need:

• 3.00 mm and 3.50 mm crochet hooks
